Where we work in the UK
Winder.AI is Winder Research and Development Ltd, a UK limited company with its registered office in Harrogate, North Yorkshire. Phil Winder founded it in 2013 and still runs it from Yorkshire. The engineers he works with most are in London and Italy, with a wider bench in Bristol, Oregon and Dubai. The team is remote-first and always has been, which is why there is no London office and no London premium on our published rates.
On-site days happen where they pay back: discovery workshops, board sessions, integration sprints with your engineers and regulator-facing reviews. Over the last few years that has meant London most often, and it has also meant Leeds, Manchester, Edinburgh and Bristol. Between those days the work runs remotely, so a client in Aberdeen, Cardiff, Belfast or Norwich gets the same engagement as one in the City. The London page exists because London is the one place with enough on-site work to describe separately. We have not built pages for other cities and will not unless the delivery there is different.
Two things about the delivery model matter to UK buyers more than the postcode. Data stays where you need it: we build inside your AWS, Azure or GCP account, in a UK region, or on your own Kubernetes for the air-gapped and sovereign-cloud cases. And contracting is direct, in GBP, or through G-Cloud when a public buyer’s procurement route requires it.
