Bacalhau is a project started under Protocol Labs, but has now spun out into Expanso, Inc. Expanso is a leading Web3 innovator specializing in developing next generation decentralized commodity services. AI Product Development
Our friends at Expanso are at the forefront of designing the next generation of decentralized commodity IT services. They needed to push the Bacalhau project forward in order to meet their tight investment-led schedule and were struggling to find design partners that had the necessary skills to deliver.
David Aronchick, the CEO of Expanso, Inc. said that “we needed a full new platform built with APIs, CLIs, and workflow engines - as part of bacalhau.org.” Without Winder.AI’s AI product development expertise, they “were not able to move forward with our business, and launch the new project. We needed a complex combination of ML, golang, data science, API design, and distributed systems engineering” which was difficult to find.

Winder.AI’s task was to take the high level backlog and provide the necessary skills to deliver. When the priorities changed, we mutated to fulfil the new requirements. To that end, Winder.AI worked on a wide variety of tasks that helped the overall goal of pushing the project forward. David Aronchick said “we were able to move the entire project - documentation, examples, core API, and partnerships - forward much more quickly due to Winder’s help.”
One sub-project in particular stood out. Bacalhau Amplify was developed entirely by Winder.AI and delivered to a very tight schedule.
